Our Instructor training course provides candidates with the skills necessary to prepare and examine operators for the working environment of lift trucks. By completing this course, candidates will gain the knowledge and understanding of how to do this in accordance with the agreed best practice.
The course consists of an interactive guided theory, discussion and practice as well as an examination. All elements of the examination must be passed to successfully qualify as an Instructor. We deliver this course under an In-House certification or RTITB Accredited to suit all of our customers. This can be discussed on an individual basis as to which course is best for you.
The In-House Instructor training course is useful to companies or individuals who want the ability to train other individuals on the site they are employed. This course is not transferable to other premises or workplace. The RTITB Accredited Instructor course allows the candidate to train individuals on any premises and is a qualification which is recognised nationally.
The course is generally delivered on a Counterbalance lift truck. Upon completion of the course, the candidate will be able to teach on any machine which they hold a fully accredited, in date certificate for.
The total duration of this course is two weeks.
Any candidate who wishes to enrol on the Instructor training course will need to hold an in date certificate of Basic Operator skills and a minimum of 6 months experience of fork lift use.
